The 2024 Impact Report Is Here!
2024 was an incredible year for the Coalition! We achieved THREE of our huge organizational goals this year.
- Renovated West Linn’s Historic City Hall. Estimated to be completed by the end of 2024, this renovation project, in partnership with the City of West Linn, broke ground in January 2024.
- Released a public draft of our NHA Legislation. Becoming a National Heritage Area takes an act of Congress. In September 2024 the Coalition publicly shared a draft of the legislation that will formally designate our 56 river mile region as a National Heritage Area. We are hopeful to see this draft bill move through Congress in 2025.
- Developed a Visitor Experience Plan. The Coalition engaged Portland design firm, Alchemy of Design, to develop a comprehensive plan that will guide the Coalition’s work in the Historic City Hall building as a new cultural center and gateway to the future National Heritage Area.
We are so grateful to all of our supporters, partners, and community members who encourage us in our work. We thank you for your investment in us to see this region from Lake Oswego to Keizer be recognized nationally as significant to our shared history.
2024 Coalition Impact Report
In our first annual Coalition Impact Report, we are excited to share our organizational accomplishments of this year, and thrilled to announce our upcoming projects for 2025. More than ever, our goal as a Coalition is to gain national recognition for the unique history and heritage of our region while forging collaborative partnerships with existing entities and organizations that also serve the region.
