Building Information
The Willamette Falls & Landings Heritage Area Coalition has its headquarters at West Linn’s Historic City Hall (HCH). The 1936 building was recently renovated through a partnership between the Coalition and the City of West Linn. The Coalition manages the building and is excited to offer the community meeting and office space to rent and will be opening a cultural center in the fall of 2025.
The concept for a cultural and community center at Historic City Hall began around 2015 shortly after the West Linn Police Department moved out of the building. The Coalition’s previous Executive Director, Siobhan Taylor, had a great vision for the building and was able to gather broad support. After nearly 10 years of planning, advocacy, and fundraising, and construction, the building was ready to be re-opened to the public in 2025.
We are thrilled to present Historic City Hall as a resource to the entire 56 river-mile Heritage Area. Community organizations and businesses are welcome to reserve our two meeting rooms and small businesses or non-profits looking for office space may find there home in one of our offices or communal workspace. Anyone interested in heritage and culture will soon find an engaging and welcoming cultural center that serves as a gateway to the entirety of our proposed National Heritage Area.
Volunteers and donors will also play a vital role at HCH. If you are interested in helping with cultural center operations please reach out! We would also greatly appreciate financial contributions to help sustain our work at the building and throughout the Heritage Area. Please visit our donate page and contribute to the Siobhan Loughran Taylor Building Fund to specifically help our efforts at Historic City Hall.
