New Fiscal Year and New Board Beginnings!
July signals the beginning of our new fiscal year. As a Coalition, our organization is deeply committed to increasing the representation of the different peoples and communities that are presently and historically found in our heritage area. At the turn of this fiscal year, we welcomed 5 new board members to our ranks. Our work continues. We are excited to have them and believe their energy and commitment to our work will be an asset to the board and our community.
Welcome new board members:
- Katie McFall, Taste Newberg Deputy Director
- Jennifer Burns, Old Aurora Colony Museum Director
- Stephen Greenwood, Executive Director: Museum of the Oregon Territory, Stevens-Crawford House, Clackamas County Historical Society
- Doug Sam, Professor, and PhD Student at the University of Oregon
- Eric Underwood, Donald City Manager
We held our Old Oregon Photos inventory sale on Saturday, July 13th during the West Linn Old Time Fair. Thank you to all who came out to see what prints we had available. The Old Oregon Photos Printing Studio will be moving into Historic City Hall with the Coalition. We will continue to operate this business for years to come and plan to open John Klatt’s archival collection of thousands of images and historical books and papers to the public.
