Seeking Proposals for Community Curated Exhibit Opportunity
The Willamette Falls & Landings Heritage Area Coalition is accepting proposals for the first community curated exhibit to be displayed at Historic City Hall. Heritage sites and organizations that operate within the boundaries of or share stories related to the proposed National Heritage Area are welcome to submit proposals.
The Community Cultural Center at Historic City Hall strives to provide an overview of the heritage of our 56 river-mile region while primarily encouraging people to visit each site for a more in-depth experience. The Willamette Falls & Landings Heritage Area is a unique region with a diverse record of historical cultures, discoveries, and settlement since time immemorial.
Proposals should focus on how your site contributes to the broader history of the region. Stories of national significance or those that have been neglected or untold, are of particular interest for this exhibit. Exhibits will be displayed in cases or hung on a wall. Each organization will have a space that is approximately 58 inches tall and 41 inches wide.
The Coalition will provide printing for text and photographs as well as design/formatting for the content you develop. Participants may also use photographs from our Old Oregon Photos collection if desired.
Please submit your proposals by filling out this form by November 21. Proposals will be reviewed by the Coalition’s Projects & Programs committee and selected exhibits will be notified by December 5. Exhibit installation will take place in January 2026 and an opening reception will be held in early February.
